A little DABS Will Do Ya!...Featuring Mildred Matlock
A Little Bit About Mildred Matlock,
Mildred’s first experience with making an audience laugh was in the seventh grade. Years later she rediscovered her funny bone and the rest was history. As a member of Toastmasters International, Mildred would win numerous Humorous Speech contest.
A Masterful Storyteller, Mildred shares what she loves about storytelling: “I love making people grin, giggle, and guffaw, so I tell personal stories. I love inspiring eye-opening, “Aha moments,” so I tell personal stories. I love celebrating the events and people who made me who I am, so I tell personal stories.”
Since retiring Mildred shares personal stories in monthly messages at her church to witness her beliefs. She particularly enjoys presenting workshops to teach seniors to perpetuate their legacies by shaping and sharing their personal stories.
